The date of the
next flight is April 16th. Blaise reminded all Young Eagle pilots they need to
be briefed on procedures prior to flying out of SRQ. Dave announced preference
will be given to owner aircraft at future Young Eagle events.
Old Business: A BBQ is scheduled for Friday night, April 15th at

Friday, March 25th. Chapter T-shirts are available in gray for

New Business: Dave will have tapes of Airport Authority meetings
available to chapter members. The tapes are about one hour long. Frank and
Dave are in the process of getting a P.O. Box for the chapter at a cost of about
$20.00 per year. Dave would also like to send a condensed version of the
newsletter to all pilots in the area sometime in the future. A new FBO is
coming to the airport, and Dave would like chapter members to remember Dolphin
Aviation's support of our Young Eagle events.
A break was taken for
refreshments, followed by a 50/50 drawing.
The program for the evening
was an interactive CD - 'Getting Around the Airport'. The CD contained much
useful information about airport taxi and runway procedures.
Dave closed
the meeting at 9:44pm.
