A picnic for
Saturday, November 13th was announced. It will be held at Airport
Manatee's hangar #57, and will begin about 11:30am. Those attending
are invited to bring along a dish to share and chairs. Hot dogs,
hamburgers and drinks will be provided.
A break was taken for refreshments and the 50/50 drawing.
New Business:
Blaise Pierson had an idea for the chapter tool library. He feels
those checking out tools should notify the tool chairman if they keep
the tool longer than two weeks to see if someone else is waitng to use
that tool.
Our program for
the evening was a proposal by Eugene Naves for a chapter aircraft
project. He would like to see the chapter sponsor the construction of
an aircraft, with a buy-in by chapter members. Eugene fielded
questions from the group on just who would be eligible to fly the
completed project, insurance questions and liablity. Those interested
in such a project should contact Eugene.
Steve Walters closed the meeting at 9:00pm.
Respectfully submitted, Rolf Bostrom, Secretary.
