EAA Chapter 180 August meeting                                                                                         8/28/91

President Willie Pittman opened the meeting at 7:37PM with the Pledge to the Flag.  32 members and guests were present.

Treasurers Report:  Jim Kissick filling in for Mike Barnett, reported a balance of $139.

Billy Henderson, from Sun 'n Fun, thanked our Chapter for helping at the Fly Market in April with a check for $500.  He also reported the Sun 'n Fun Foundation has bids for a new 20,000 sq. ft. building at the Lakeland airport.  It is to be the first part of a larger facility to house the museum.
One of our members, Howard Knipple, passed away recently.  His wife has his Emeraude project for sale, $7,000 for the airframe and $2,500 for a new 130 hp Franklin engine.
After a break for refreshments, the group watched a video on a past Sun 'n Fun Fly-in.

Willie closed the meeting at 9:12PM.

Respectfully submitted, Rolf Bostrom, Secretary
